SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Full time Permanent: 38 hours per week
Location: Northbridge, Perth initially; moving to Perth CBD.
Remuneration: $85,000 - $95,000 p.a + Super + ARTRAGE Passholder Benefits

ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Senior Accountant, you will be a vital part of financial processes within ARTRAGE, collaborating closely with the Leadership Team across all departments. Your extensive experience, expertise, and innovation will be instrumental in enhancing the performance of our finance department. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of financial transactions, overseeing payroll procedures, conducting financial reconciliations, end of month financial reporting and maintaining the overall integrity of our financial operations.
Additionally, you will serve as a liaison between the finance team and senior management, facilitating seamless communication and advocating for system and process improvements. Your forward-thinking approach and innovative solutions will contribute significantly to the ongoing success of ARTRAGE.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Accounting, Commerce or Business (B Com or B Bus)
CA or CPA qualified
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role
Previous experience with MYOB Advanced or a similar financial reporting system
High level of skills in financial reporting
High level of problem-solving skills
Knowledge of tax, accounting and statutory compliance obligations
Desirable:
Experience with use of ProSpend (Expense Manager), Deputy and Asana software systems
Experience in the arts and culture or not-for-profit sector
