As an integral part of the finance team, you will play a crucial role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and assisting in conducting financial analysis for due diligence on prospective businesses. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of finance and agriculture, contributing to sustainable and profitable investment initiatives.Key Responsibilities

• Managing financial accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting including reporting on variances.
• Developing, maintaining and analysing annual budgets and 3-5 year forecasts
• Completing a monthly financial review and quarterly reforecasts
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Using financial budgeting and reporting tools to develop and interpret trends analysis and financial benchmark information for strategic business opportunities
• Assisting in conducting financial analysis for due diligence and provide insights and recommendations to senior management
• Preparing BAS and PAYG returns

The Ideal Candidate:

• CA or CPA qualification is preferred, however candidates who are degree qualified will also be considered.
• Intermediate to advanced excel skills
• Solid understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills, high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
