The Role
Reporting to the Business Services Manager, together with your professional approach and strong organisational skills, to be considered for this role, you will require the following:
- At least three years experience working in Business Services/Tax with a CA or CPA firm would be an advantage
- Strong technical tax ability
- Oversee drafts from Senior Accountants
- Compliance
- Client facing role with HNW professionals
- Experience with the following systems: Business Fitness, Microsoft Dynamics, Xero, Xero PM, NowInfinity and Class will be highly regarded
- Excellent communication skills
- An ability to build relationships with clients
- Attention to detail
- "Can Do" Attitude
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products is a must
About You
You will be a forward thinking and self motivated accountant that is committed to assisting clients and the team to reach their full potential.
In order for you to be considered for this position, you will require the following:
- At least 3+ years in business services including taxation, financial reporting in a Public Practice environment with possible exposure to FBT, Div 7A, CGT and BAS
- CPA or CA qualification
- A keen business sense and small business savvy
- Proactive in dealing with clients and can think outside of the square
- Communicate well with people of all ages and professions and have both strong written and verbal skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to analyse data for accuracy, errors and discrepancies.
