Your Opportunity To support our growth, we are seeking Senior Accountants to assist our team in delivering accounting and business advisory services to our clients. As a Senior Accountant, you will be involved in and gain exposure to the following: Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for all entities including sole traders, companies, trusts and partnerships; Preparation of business & instalment activity statements; Preparation of workpapers to support the completion of the above; Assistance with budgeting, cash flows, tax planning, management reporting and other general advisory work; Contacting the ATO in relation to various client matters including payment arrangements; Review and sorting of client information; Utilisation of accounting industry-specific software (including Xero Tax & PM, Class and MYOB); Provide guidance to junior team members and delegate work as required; Ad hoc duties as required. As the successful candidate you will: have a relevant tertiary or post-grad qualification be CA or Part CA equivalent qualified (desirable) have a minimum of 2-3 years experience in professional practice be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience your area have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with a variety of clients display initiative and an ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines be proficient in Microsoft Excel be proficient in industry-specific software such as Xero Tax & PM, Class and MYOB (desirable).
