With a commitment to ensuring client satisfaction and fostering a collaborative and engaged team environment, we are looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to join the team, supporting a high performing team with a passion for customer service management (CSM).
About the Opportunity
As the Senior Accounting Manager, you will manage the music and entertainment portfolio, oversee various aspects of financial management and team leadership, ensuring smooth operations and client satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Propel client expansion through proactive pursuit and nurturing of fresh business avenues, while fostering solid connections as the main client interface
- Provide strategic oversight and mentorship to team members, ensuring smooth task execution and utmost client contentment in advisory responsibilities
- Supervise external accountants in reviewing financial statements and tax returns for accuracy and compliance
- Efficiently manage workload distribution and workflow to maximise productivity
- Regularly forecast billing projections to facilitate effective financial planning
- Prepare comprehensive monthly performance reports, offering valuable insights for strategic decision-making
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, promptly addressing and resolving any concerns to maintain strong relationships
Ideal Profile
- You will be CA/CPA qualified, coupled with 7+ years experience in mid-tier or boutique accounting firms.
- You will have exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail and be motivated to execute client deadlines
- Profound understanding of tax and accounting principles, including superannuation and taxation methodology
- Committed to continuous learning, development, and organisational growth, with a proven track record of managing client portfolios to enhance business positions.
- To be considered for this role it is required to be a Registered Tax Agent
