About the role
We are currently experiencing sales growth and expansion and have an exciting opportunity within our team for a Senior Accounts Payable Officer, with room to grow into a full Accountant.
Day to Day responsibilities
- Promote and demonstrates Earlee Products WH&S, culture, values and mission.
- Process weekly and monthly payment run, including collecting and checking invoices, generate pay run files, and generate payment reports for approval.
- Manage PO/GR Clearing – investigate any items that have not been invoiced.
- Manage OCR invoice database, in particular exceptions or queries that will arise.
- Manage Stock Count
- Month-end AP closing including bank reconciliations and certain GL.
- Manage Supplier Records including new Supplier Applications and reference checks.
- Maintain asset register and depreciation schedule.
- AP archiving such as all receival docs, purchase forms, invoices, bank rec etc.
- Offer support to other team members and departments.
- Assist in audit and other ad hoc duties when required.
Skills and Experience
- Degree in accounting or related fields preferred
- 3 plus years experience in a similar, fast paced position.
- Strong attention to detail and a sense of responsibility
- Team oriented with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
