The successful candidate will join a dynamic team who are driven, outcome focused and strive for both individual and team success. Reporting to the Head of Finance, your primary responsibilities will be to manage and support the end-to-end Accounts Payable function within a fast-paced working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Process and manage high volume creditor invoices, subcontractor claims and ensuring all invoices are accurately coded and approved in a timely manner
- Set up and maintenance of supplier records
- Ownership of creditor payment run process, including QBCC retention trust payments and transfers
- Managing timely and accurate payments to all creditors
- Management and reconciliation of corporate credit cards
- Reconcile Accounts Payable transactions and monitor ageing reports
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations
- Answer telephone calls and respond to email queries
Role Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in full function Accounts Payable
- JOBPAC and EzeScan experience preferred but not essential
- Experience in construction industry beneficial
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft 365 products (Outlook, Excel and Word)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and driven with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
- Excellent time management skills, managing conflicting deadlines while maintaining professionalism
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
