SALARY: From $75,000 per annum + 11% superannuation.

NOT FOR PROFIT: Salary package up to $15,900 per annum each FBT year plus further meals and entertainment benefits up to $2649 pa

WORKING HOURS: Monday - Friday: 9:00am - 5:06pm (flexible)

genU are looking for a motivated and passionate Senior Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Financial Services division and support our diverse and growing organisation! The Financial Services division exists to support the main service divisions of genU to enable these divisions to improve the quality of life for Australian's living with disabilities, the aging, and their families.

As the Senior Accounts Receivable Officer your main role will be to oversee the daily activities of the Accounts Officers, providing guidance, support and coaching to set and achieve professional objectives and growth in relation to Accounts Receivable processes. You will also be responsible for:

  • Managing relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Resolving invoicing / collection issues
  • Processing Accounts Receivable including invoice entry, receipting and enquiry responses
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and strong internal financial control
  • Supporting month end accounting processes
  • Assisting with audit processes
  • Contributing to process efficiency and automation implementation

This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity based at the genU Support Hub in Geelong, Victoria. Flexible, hybrid office/work from home options readily available.

About You:

Our idealSenior Accounts Receivable Officerwill demonstrate strong leadership skills who is committed to staff development and continuous improvement. You will demonstrate high-level organisation, time management, task prioritisation skills and have the ability to work both autonomously and within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Essential requirements:

  • Experience in Accounts Receivable;

  • Experience in a supervisory role with direct reports;

  • Proficient user of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook and other internet applications;

  • Experience working with SAP;

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.

  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety and You' Certificate of Completion or willingness to obtain.
