In the role of Senior Advisor (Analytics), you will undertake and provide advice on complex data analysis and reporting activities to enable effective decision making across a wide range of products and services across Customer Services Branch (CSB) diverse service delivery network. You will leverage your strong communication skill base and work with stakeholders to implement effective reporting requirements and provide advice on updating, improving and implementing reporting frameworks.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Manage and process data requests to support and provide insights to inform strategic and operational decision making.
- Provide advice and support the development, maintenance and enhancement of predictive analytics and data models to measure efficiency, effectiveness, identify opportunities, mitigate risk and improve the stakeholder experience.
- Provide accurate and timely advice on data requests and undertake advanced analysis using tools including Structured Query Language (SQL), Python and R. Use advanced understanding of tools and techniques (Tableau, Power BI) used to create effective visualisations communicate data/analysis, so it is easily understood by different audiences.
- Coordinate the timely delivery of business intelligence and management information by managing a schedule of regular reporting, updating key performance indicators, and maintaining team processes and documentation to ensure the validity, reliability, and consistency of report data and departmental data assets.
- Lead the identification and investigation of data issues and assist in assessment of business system changes that will evaluate and recommend options for mitigating impacts to data and improving data sources.
- Proven experience in complex data analysis and reporting activities, preferably within a diverse service delivery network with experience using advanced SQL, Python and R.
- Experience in creating effective visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar, to communicate data and analysis clearly to various audiences.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships to facilitate a shared understanding of data management principles, enabling the provision of operational advice and support to the branch.
- Proven ability to coordinate the timely delivery of business intelligence and management information by managing reporting schedules, updating key performance indicators, and maintaining data integrity.
