BB Customer & Risk Analytics sits within the wider Analytics, Data, and Decision Science (ADDS) team, part of Everyday Business Banking (EBB) in BB.BB Customer Risk and Automation is the analytical function that supports Customer Risk management and remediation. We are responsible for developing, enhancing, testing and automating analytical controls to ensure the strength and efficiency of Business Banking control environment.Your impact and contribution:
- Partner with the BB Control Excellence team to design and implement robust analytical control assessment framework
- Drive stakeholder outcomes to deliver better customer experiences
- Deliver at pace, with quality through continuous improvement and governance
- Uplift people capabilities in data and analytics through engagement networks and community forums
- Perform risk-focused analytics and provide specialist advice on the analytical control design and enhancement;
- Liaise with Chief Controls Office (CCO) team as well as Product Managers across business banking to understand business requirements and determine control testing plan;
- Profile, test and understand data from core business systems to determine the existence of unidentified risks or analytical control design gaps;
- Present analytical insights to stakeholders to give advice to our business partners with data;
- Maintain documentation of your analysis and version control of code/scripts using tools such as GitHub;
- Must have proven experience working with SQL to extract data from complex datasets;
- Must have proven experience liaising with less analytical stakeholders to solve business problems with data;
- The ability to elicit business requirements and comprehend complex business processes;
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy whilst working to competing priorities;
- Knowledge and Experience in Banking (customers, products, systems, processes) preferred;
- Experience with analytical tools and platforms such as Python and R Studio and Github preferred;
