Due to ongoing workload in BAU and process improvement work in uplifting and enhancing the Commercial Finance team, we are looking to engage a Senior Analyst / Project Consultant to join the existing Commercial Finance Team in establishing our brand-new budget build out for the first time for the FY24 budget. This role will be a 4 month project reporting directly to the Finance director with the potential of extension.
The Role
The Senior Analyst will facilitate the end-to-end budget preparation and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Analysing and understanding funding agreements across different service lines and identifying best practice cost allocation to those contracts
Partnering with Service Line Directors in understanding how they allocate costs and building appropriate cost allocations into the budget.
Preparation of the FY24 Budget to completion utilising ERP (D365) and Budgeting Tool (Adaptive Planning)
Raise complexities in more complex contracts surrounding revenue recognition and attribution of costs to the Finance Director
Assisting in change management across the organisation in best practice budget management for FY24
Your Profile
This project opportunity would suit someone who has worked in bottom-up budget builds and has strong experience in Labour Costing environments through highly laborious industries (NFP, Health, Manufacturing, Engineering, Professional Services etc.). This person will have appropriate experience in adapting quickly to change and partnering with non-finance stakeholders.
