Tokar Estate Winery located in the heart of the Yarra Valley has an opening for a passionate, innovative and experienced chef to join our team.
This is casual weekend position both Saturday and Sunday, and whilst we will require the occasional evening shift for private functions, the role is predominately day shifts for lunch service. The occasional weekday shift will be available in line with business demand if interested.
To succeed in the role you will be a natural team player, assisting with the day-to-day service in the kitchen with ease. You will enjoy being a part of a small team, sharing in their passion to create exceptional food from the very best local produce. You will enjoy creating a fun yet professional atmosphere and with your positive can-do attitude and you never shy away from a challenge
We Require:
- Proven experience as a Commis Chef or Sous Chef (paid accordingly based on experience)
- Extensive experience on the grill, pasta making and butchery skills
- A sound understanding of various cooking methods
- Experience in a similar fast paced restaurant environment
- Must have the right to work in Australia
- Must have own transport
Salary negotiable upon experience
