Your new role
Reporting to the Incident Manager, Group Risk, the Senior Analyst is a key member of the Enterprise Risk team and interface with first line Risk Specialists across the Fund. You will assist the Incident Manager to provide support, coaching, challenge and oversight on Incident and Breach Management, working closely with Group Risk colleagues.
Some of your duties will include:
- Work with the Incident Manager and other Group Risk colleagues in providing support to ensure that the First Line effectively manages incidents across the Fund through feedback, coaching, training, and monitoring.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to help drive and support the Fund's approach to incident management and Breach Reporting.
- Drive investigation outcome for escalated incidents, complete assessment for escalated incidents and prepare the required information for Breach Reporting to the respective regulator.
- Generate insights, trend analysis on incidents and Breaches across the Fund, and provide feedback and reporting to the relevant stakeholders.
- Provide independent, specialist Second Line Risk oversight through Monitoring and challenge of First Line incident management practices.
- Solid regulatory incident management experience (2+ years reviewing incidents under ASIC's Regulatory Guide 78 and APRA's Breach Reporting obligations), preferably gained in the superannuation fund industry.
- Strong data analytical and reporting skills to provide insights and trend analysis on incident management and Breach Reporting, proficiency in Power BI is a must.
- Have a solid understanding of incident management to facilitate greater collaboration between First- and Second-line teams.
- Good communication skills and ability to engage and influence.
- (Preferred) experience in dealing with APRA, ASIC, and other financial services regulators.
- Ability to write with effect, particularly in relation to creating reports and updating risk framework documents.
- Well-developed attention to detail, analytical and investigative skills.
- Solid consulting, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Experience in building sound risk awareness amongst colleagues by providing ongoing support and training.
