POD is a small practice with a national reputation for our commitment to social and environmental sustainability, our respect for Country, and working with First Nations people. We are change-makers, architects, landscape architects, researchers, and leaders based in Gimuy (Cairns), Qld.

POD’s work is always interesting, and it covers the vast and beautiful landscapes of northern Australia. Our pipeline of work is solid and spans cultural, public, education, health, commercial, and residential sectors. Essential skills required:

-Talented, enthusiastic, registered architect with 10 years minimum post-graduate experience in architectural design, documentation, and community engagement.

-5 years minimum experience working in Australian practice.

-Interest in and aptitude for management and business development.

-Proficiency in Revit and the Adobe suite.

-Excellent verbal, written and graphic communications skills with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

-Team player with experience supervising others.

-Passion for working with community and creating meaningful outcomes with great architecture.Alignment with POD’s values and philosophy.
