Form of workWe are seeking a Senior Asset Engineer to join our Asset Management team!
The Senior Asset Engineer oversees the Asset Engineering function to achieve an effective balance between cost, risk and level of service, while ultimately delivering minimum whole of life cost for Aqwest’s assets. The position is also responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the engineering design to deliver quality design products on time and to budget.

About the role:
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate the development of asset monitoring and condition assessment programs that provide the required information for robust asset investment decisions.
- Design management for all asset investments against specified requirements.
- Undertake asset condition assessment and technical investigations and provide solution.
- Undertake the analysis for the assessment of current and future asset performance and risk against requirements to inform investment and planning priorities.
- Develop maintenance plans to meet defined Levels of Services.
- Develop the scoping of capital projects and operating work packages to enable operations staff to meet relevant asset portfolio investment objectives.
