Come and join us in shaping the future of the city and its people.About the roleAs Senior Asset Engineer (Flood Mitigation and Drainage) you will be part of the Civil Asset Management team and responsible for the provision of an integrated approach to the asset management of all drainage, stormwater, and Flood Mitigation infrastructure.Some of your key responsibilities will include: Asset management of Flood Mitigation and drainage infrastructure assets, including detention basins, dams, and stormwater drainage networks Design and implement a comprehensive Condition Assessment Program for all Flood Mitigation and drainage infrastructure assets Develop and implement a Decicion-Making framework for prioritising asset management and maintenance activities About you To be successful in this role you will have: Relevant tertiary qualifications in civil engineering, asset management or construction management (or an equivalent tertiary degree) Extensive experience in the delivery of Asset Management initiatives within a government or other relevant asset-based organisations Strong negotiation, consultation, interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate ‘whole of Council' asset management The ability to be resilient, agile and provide leadership support to the civil asset management team An excellent fit with our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership View the position description for more details about the role.What's on offer?This is a permanent full time position at level 7 with a salary commencing at $110,575, plus superannuation of up to 12.5%.
