The Role
As a Senior Asset Planner, reporting to the Manager, Service Programs – Water Treatment, you will be based in our Docklands office and be responsible for developing programs within the Water Treatment Service Portfolio, including shaping service objectives and technical goals. Your key responsibilities include:
- Translating service master plans and conditional assessment data into precise technical and performance objectives for both the overall Water Supply system and Water Treatment major assets. This involves the creation and regular updating of asset management plans.
- Being responsible for leading and driving development of the growth, compliance, risk and renewals of capital investment programs across the Water Treatment Asset Portfolio
- Providing technical expertise and judgement in program development of water treatment engineering projects.
- Performing Risk assessment studies including technical risk assessment on Melbourne Water sites

Your Skills and Experience
- Proficient in project management, leading technical feasibility studies and investigations in collaboration with engineering service providers and stakeholders.
- Proficient in conducting risk assessments and technical studies simultaneously across multiple projects, demonstrating expertise and knowledge.
- Active professional engineering registration is required
- Tertiary degree in relevant engineering field or extensive experience in related area
- Criminal records check, Medical check and evidence of Engineering Registration
