We are looking for a confident, competent and capable solicitor to join our Canberra office in a permanent full-time Senior Associate role.
Key Role Responsibilities
- Supporting and working with members of the team including our Principals, Solicitors and Barristers.
- Preparing, reviewing and working on Court and other legal documents.
- Proactive file management.
- Meeting with and speaking to clients via face to face, Zoom and telephone.
- Appearing in Courts and Tribunals across Australia.
- Travelling across Australia and internationally to work with clients of the firm.
Skills
- > 5 years law firm experience, preferably in personal injury litigation (defendant or plaintiff).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Displaying initiative in identifying and proposing solutions to challenges.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Well organised with an attention to detail.
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team.
