We are currently looking for a Senior Associate to join a high-performing Litigation team. This position will be based out of the Canberra office location. This prestigious and well-known firm provides comprehensive legal services to individuals, businesses, organisations and governments. This role will play a crucial part in handling complex litigation matters and contributing to the firm's success.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced Litigation lawyer who has worked in a similar role previously at an Associate or Senior Associate level.
You will have experience providing advice that is pragmatic and will understand the 'big picture'.

You will also have the following skills and experience:

• 3-7+ years PAE with demonstrable expertise in commercial litigation.
• Work closely with highly regarded partners on complex litigation matters.
• Handle general commercial litigation cases, including contractual disputes, property disputes, misleading and deceptive conduct claims, derivative actions, and other commercial disputes.
• Provide advice and representation to clients.
• Collaborate with a close-knit team of lawyers.
• Engage in aspects of business development and client management.
• The ability to take carriage of matters, work directly with clients, delegate tasks, mentor junior lawyers.
• Strong collaborative skills within a high-performing team environment while also working autonomously when needed.
• Commitment to excellence and delivering high-quality outcomes within tight timeframes.
