What you'll do:
As a Senior Associate Civil Engineer at WSP, you will take on a leadership role, enhancing your capabilities and contributing to the reputation of our Geo-environmental engineering team. Collaborate on significant projects in civil, infrastructure, and mining sectors, focusing on subsurface environmental risks, geosynthetics, embankments, earthworks, and surface water management.
Develop innovative and sustainable engineering solutions within an industry-leading team.
Lead the delivery of complex projects in geo-environmental engineering, urban infrastructure, waste management, mining, and hazardous dams.
Play a key role in developing technical documents for clients throughout various project phases.
Build and maintain client relationships, supporting project delivery and business development.
Ensure technical project delivery, managing risks and maintaining quality.
Undertake project management, focusing on repeat business and desired outcomes for key clients.
Mentor and lead a team of junior engineers, contributing to shared project responsibilities.
Support operations management in developing and executing strategies for achieving shared goals.
About you:
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering with extensive relevant experience.
Extensive design experience in civil/environmental/geotechnical engineering related to subsurface environmental risks, geosynthetics, embankments, earthworks, and surface water management.
Excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to convey advice to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong project management capabilities and ability to lead multidisciplinary projects.
Highly motivated, innovative, and committed to technical excellence.
Demonstrated project ownership, decision-making, and mentoring skills.
