We are proud to have a strong Class Actions presence nationally, assisting clients to secure justice in some of the nation's most prominent Class Actions, including the Worley Ltd shareholder class action, Stolen Wages and Stolen Generations Class Actions and the Ruby Princess class action. The team is led by two experienced and highly regarded Joint Heads of Class Actions and assisted by a dedicated team of Practice Leaders, Special Counsels, Senior Associates and other legal professionals.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Associate with experience contributing to the success of running shareholder Class Actions, or for an Associate seeking to step up into a Senior Associate position. Whether you’ve come from defendant or plaintiff practice, you will have the opportunity to take a leading role on prominent cases, including contributing to case strategy, expert evidence and investigations into new Class Actions. With mentorship from a team of highly experienced Class Actions practitioners, you will have an ideal balance of autonomy and guidance.

- Working closely within our Class Actions Leadership Team, you will provide the representation our group members need and deserve to obtain maximum compensation with velocity and efficiency.
- Cultivating strong relationships with our clients, peers and other stakeholders through exceptional communication and clear management of expectations.
- Developing a proficiency to originate, assess, investigate and secure funding for new class action opportunities.
To thrive in this role, you will:
- A Bachelor of Laws with a current practising certificate.
- Experience as a senior lawyer practising in shareholder Class Actions.
- Have an innate ability to question, challenge the status quo and always stay ahead of the pack.
- Be a great communicator both verbally and in writing.
- Be committed to truly connecting with those around you and working together to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
