Lawyer/Senior Associate (3.5-7PAE) - Corporate (PE, M&A, Commercial) - Sydney

We represent a specialist Australian corporate law firm with experience across a broad range of domestic and cross-border transactions and disputes. The firm has expertise across a wide range of industry sectors, and provide exceptional legal services to all their clients. 

The Team  

Our client has a multitude of highly experienced partners that cover all industry sectors. The firm’s expertise spans across corporate M&A, private equity, insolvency and restructures, banking and finance, disputes and litigation, property, sports law and commercial law. 

The Role 

This role will see you work closely across all the corporate and commercial partners and ideally you will have expertise in private M&A, private equity and/or commercial transactions. 

Given the small nature of the firm, you will be afforded plenty of responsibility and there is lots of career progression opportunities for those who excel and want it.
  
Requirements  

Our client is seeking a high performing lawyer with at least 4 years PAE. In addition, the ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in corporate law from a reputable law firm; 
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships; 
• The ability to work independently in a collaborative team environment
• Willingness to engage in business development.
