Commercial Banking Diversified located at South West Sydney serves over 1,000 clients in the Commercial Banking segment with revenue exceeding $50m and complex loans of up to $50m.

Your impact
You will be a key member of our team and supporting the Relationships Executives with research and undertake analysis and assess the risks or opportunities associated with new lending, as well as the risks or opportunities associated with increases in client credit. You will develop a comprehensive database of industry specific information as well as ideas and solutions to support our highly valued clientele.
Do work that matters
Your role will involve writing, negotiating and managing credit applications for new and existing clients, you will undertake the due diligence, financial modelling and risk analysis associated with these applications. This is an opportunity to identify, research and compile information on new to bank prospects, complex papers and discussion white papers for new and existing clients as well. You will have oversight of complex diversified transactions in the team but also the opportunity to use your leadership abilities by coaching and mentoring Analysts in the team – their success will become your own!
What are we looking for?
It is anticipated you will have advanced Excel skills and extensive experience in financial modelling, developing forecasts and sensitivity analysis. You have a strong commercial acumen along with an understanding of how operational drivers relate to financial drivers as well as a flair for handling complex transactions. If you have experience as an Analyst, Assistant Manager, Associate, Senior Associate or Credit manager and you are no stranger to writing credit submissions, undertaking covenant monitoring, and annual reviews within a commercial, corporate or institutional bank setting then please read on!
You may be experienced in accounting working across corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions. Your strength lies in financial analysis and the ability to interpret balance sheets, profit and loss, loan structures, and securities.
