About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our team. Ideally candidates will have at least 5 years PQE and be looking to progress their career to the next level.
You will have excellent mentoring from a highly experienced Director. You will have the opportunity to get hands on experience with transactions, sales, structuring and start-ups with a balance of supervision and autonomy.
A sample of the type of work you will assist on is as follows:
- Advising on foreign investments and corporate structures for companies domiciled in the Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands;
- Buying and selling luxury resorts in Queensland;
- Establishing an Australian sales and distribution network for a world class Swiss medical manufacturer;
- Launching an Australian start-up for drone manufacturing for major export markets;
- Buying and selling businesses in the fashion, technology, real estate, beauty, construction and transport industries;
- Advising on intellectual property protection and portfolio management - including trade marks, patents and design rights;
- Advising on regulations concerning artificial intelligence and crypto currency.
You will have direct client engagement and work closely with Senior Lawyers and Directors within a supportive and energetic team.
