Our client is a growing and leading national law firm. Due to growth they are looking to recruit a lawyer, ideally at the Senior Associate level in the area of Dispute Resolution & Administrative Law. You may already be a Senior Associate or a Senior Lawyer or an Associate on the cusp of promotion.
The partners and their team are leading adviser to government agencies. This role will see you acting for a range of government department and agencies (at the Federal, State and Local level) on contractual disputes, tort claims, judicial review, merits review, hearings before tribunals, FOI matters, regulatory enforcement, inquiries, Royal Commissions, privacy, tendering issues.
As this is a senior role, you will have high levels of client responsibility and matter responsibility. This is an excellent role for the experienced who wants a clear career path.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- at least 3 year pae in the area of public/Administrative Law and Dispute Resolution
- strong technical, litigation and advisory skills
- excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work autonomously but also in a team of high calibre lawyers
- ability to mentor more junior lawyers
- drive and commitment
