We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Associate to support the Finance Partner and play a key part of the finance partnering activities for your part of the Finance Division portfolio. The Key activities include producing analysis, financial insight, reporting and recommendations to drive and improve Business performance (inclusive of performance & planning, financial reporting & control and other support to finance business partners).
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assess, analyse, and investigate aspects of financial reporting, including understanding of variances to Business plan & forecast ensuring accurate reporting and the production of Business financial insight for potential drivers of variances.
- Run planning and forecasting models ensuring business inputs & group assumptions are reflected.
- Maintain a strong financial control environment for subsidiaries as required including supporting HFM requirements and active involvement in subsidiary control uplift and simplification initiatives.
- Support change initiatives and manage financial impacts.
- Provide detailed financial analysis to enable the provision of commercial and financial advice, on both strategic and operational initiatives to the Business.
- Maintain strong balance sheet control and understanding through the sign off balance sheet reconciliations and providing detailed analysis and information to support the FDC process.
- Complete maintenance requests and support HFM changes as required.
- Support half year and year end reporting periods by acting as key process support for any external disclosures.
- Maintain an understanding of group finance policy requirements and raise and support resolution of any risk events.
What you will bring:

- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence, coach, advise Senior Leaders using data/logic.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills including planning, communication and influencing skills.
- Profound experience in data analysis, problem solving and driving commercial insights.
- Years of experience in finance/financial services.
- Tertiary degree in Finance/Accounting/Commerce/Business preferred along with CA/CPA qualification.
