Who are we looking for?
GHD is seeking a Senior Bid Specialist to join our team in South Queensland. This role will see you working on a range of exciting projects across all of GHD's markets.
Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Managing major proposals, tenders and EOI submissions by providing project management of, and input into, our submissions for major bids and proposals
- Proactively working with technical teams to articulate strategy, key messages and themes for proposals, encouraging a client-centric approach in all pursuits
- Providing guidance and support for client pitches, facilitating 'dry runs' to ensure the team is prepared and messages are clear and articulate
- Review/proofread proposal content and provide solutions to improve overall quality, responsiveness, communication and brand compliance
- Support with maintaining our internal knowledge database and proposal systems, a commitment to continuous improvement to drive more effective and efficient proposals
- Work closely with the technical teams, Market Leaders, Relationship Managers and other Subject Matter Experts.
What you will bring to the team:
- University qualification in English, Business, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related major preferred.
- At least 5 years' experience in responding to bids, in a professional services firm context.
- Excellent writing, proof-reading, and editing skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrate the attributes of being a team player, ability to remain calm under pressure, manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
- Ability to work closely and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
