ABOUT THE ROLE
You will play a pivotal role in supporting the business as part of our internal Finance team and work with other teams to ensure data is processed in an accurate and timely fashion. For the right candidate Sitex are open to this position being either full-time or part-time hours.
The position’s primary responsibilities are:
- Daily processing of transactional based financial records, including equipment finance records.
- Weekly bank reconciliations
- Maintain Asset Register/Depreciation records and reconcile monthly to the General Ledger.
- Compile FBT data for external accountant annually.
- Prepare Financial reports on monthly, quarterly, annual basis.
- Assist with audit enquiries at end of year.
- Provide support to Finance Manager and Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams as required.
- Provide assistance to Finance Manager with preparation for BAS and any other statutory reporting.
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum 5 years experience in the same or similar position.
- Prepared to commence within 4 weeks.
- Very strong attention to detail – this is crucial in this role.
- Strong time management, with an ability to manage tasks and competing priorities.
- Proven examples of collaborating and communicating with a range of audiences and stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation.
- An understanding of basic accounting principles.
