As our growth continues, we are actively seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to join the Outsourced Accounting Services team, located in the Brisbane office. In this key role, you will actively engage with and support both our team and our valued clients. Your contribution is instrumental in guaranteeing the seamless efficiency of client service delivery, encompassing accounts payable, payroll processing, and various administrative tasks, both within our organisation and for our clients.
- Invoice Processing: Receive and review invoices for accuracy and completeness
- Payment Processing: Prepare and process payments to vendors and suppliers within established timelines
- Supplier Statements: Reconcile supplier statements on a monthly basis or as required
- Payroll Processing: Process payroll accurately and on time, including salary, overtime, deductions, and bonuses. In additional to an in depth understanding of awards, ability to calculate leave entitlements and problem solve payroll queries with clients
- Bank Reconciliation. Match payroll and accounts payable entries as required
- Play an active role in team meetings, contributing to achieving collective objectives
About you
- Proven experience in a similar role preferably in a chartered environment
- Exceptional data entry skills and excellent attention to detail
- Competence in accounts payable, reconciliations, and strong working experience related to payroll
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a proactive approach to working independently as well as in a team environment
- Competency in Microsoft Office and Xero and MYOB
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive client relationships, fostering collaboration with others to achieve desired outcomes
- Positive attitude and willingness to embrace growth opportunities
