Senior Bookkeeper/Accountant

Due to an internal promotion and organisational expansion, this position has become available for a dedicated, self-starter looking to make their mark.

• As part of the leadership team, you will work closely with the CFO, COO and your team in completing our Accounting functions. 
• This is a permanent position with flexible working hours at our Carole Park food manufacturing plant.

 Reporting to the COO, you will be completing all finance functions within our food manufacturing business, including payroll. Note this is a hands-on role. You will have one direct report who is our Accounts Administrator who has a key focus on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

• Complete end of month financial procedures including; monthly journals and report preparation for monthly board meetings.
  • Including preparation of monthly graphs, detailed profit & loss statement for the CEO, monthly P&L reports & balance sheet reports, monthly cash-flow reports & operational summary, & monthly admin reports for the CEO. 
  • Pronto end of month procedures including; all file integrities, monthly back up, monthly reports and roll into the new month.   
• Reconciliation of all GL accounts
• Preparation of weekly payroll
• Statutory reporting including PAYG, Payroll tax, workers compensation and Superannuation

• Pronto Xi (payroll), Pronto (ERP), Oz Fax, NAB Connect, Fingertec timekeeping, Sharepoint
• Submission of industry specific levies and grants 
• Maintain financial compliance
• Budget, forecast & manage reporting tasks 

You will have:

• Experience working in a similar SME
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to manage your own work and prioritise effectively
• Experience using Pronto Xi (preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience leading a team (preferred)
