The Role:
We are looking for an internal Senior Bookkeeper or Management Accountant who is ready to take our client data entry system & software accuracy to the next level.
About you:
To succeed in this role, you will meet the following criteria:
- Comfortably manage junior bookkeepers to produce accurate & timely data
- Come from a strong accounting background in a similar position minimum 2 years
- Previous experience of Xero & Google
- Strong organisational skills
- Strong Balance Sheet understanding and reconciliation skills
- Comfortably produce clear financial reports
- Attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills (with clients and team members alike).
- Experience in hospitality, or a love of eating & dining out is a big PLUS
Responsibilities:
- Monitor team members who complete: Bank reconciliation, Data Entry, Creditor & Debtor Management, BAS & IAS.
- Onboard new clients & manage process of bringing software files to our standard
- Provide regular financial reports (monthly and yearly)
- Ensure timely processing of payroll
- Understand and manage cashflow
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in related field
- Cert IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting or similar
- Previous use of Xero, DEXT, Hubdoc, Google, Restoke, Lightspeed, Square & Deputy an advantage
