They are now seeking a Senior Brand Manager to join their South East-based team on a 7-month fixed-term contract.

The role:
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, and working closely with the wider business, the Senior Brand Manager will support in creating and executing category strategies, brand strategies, and marketing plans within the frozen meals category. Additionally, the role will focus on new product innovation aligned with the Marketing Strategic Plan to drive profitable growth.
- Develop and execute the category strategy for Meals categories in conjunction with the Head of Meals.
- Develop and manage brand planning and innovation pipeline, including communication programs.
- Create brand DNAs and unique creative territories for sustained brand growth.
- Collaborate with brand owners to ensure alignment with global brand direction.
- Oversee day-to-day marketing activities, including project management, creative development, implementation, and campaign tracking.
- Develop marketing and sales aids, and promotional materials for Sales.
- Work with the Head of Digital to execute digital communications across all channels.
- Develop consumer demand creation programs to meet brand gross profit growth targets.
- Establish financial projections and budgeting to support brand strategies.
- Monitor market performance of branded product ranges, recommending changes and NPD to grow market share.
- Manage marketing campaign budgets and financials with the Head of Meals.
- Manage third-party agencies supporting brand strategies.
- Oversee the chilled meals portfolio mix through monthly Portfolio Management Review to drive efficiencies and maximise channel return.
- Ensure nominated brands' A&P budgets are managed within budget.
- Develop 3-year NPD pipelines for respective brands in consultation with the Head of Meals and brand owners.
- Work with Sales to develop bespoke innovations and manage NPD initiatives through the Stage-Gate process.
- Lead and inspire category, brand, and NPD project teams with clear vision, responsibility, and accountability.
- Monitor and manage team workloads, create development plans, and drive high engagement.
- Ensure all activities adhere to company values and ethical standards.
- Commit to a high-performance culture through job performance and KPI achievement.
- Hold a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Best suited for a Brand Manager or Senior Brand Manager with 7-10 years of experience in FMCG, ideally in food manufacturing, with strong NPD experience.
- Strong communicator with a robust commercial perspective.
- Agility and adaptability are vital to work in a fast-paced environment with different verticals within the business, working directly with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work with little direction.
- Driven and proactive, collaborating effectively with the wider team to achieve company targets and KPIs.
- Proficiency in computer skills, excellent organisation, and time management are necessary.
