About the role
The Senior Brand Manager will take charge of our regional brand strategy and partner with top marketing leaders to drive brand growth. Reporting to the Head of Marketing – Premium and Sparkling, this role will drive the growth of our business to achieve brand equity, market share, and profitability goals through strategic plans. Working closely with your Assistant Brand Manager, you will also represent the marketing team to work closely with our leadership teams in delivering presentations and insights across the ANZ region.
This is full time, permanent position based in Sydney with our hybrid working model allowing you to work in the office and remotely.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop brand identity, positioning, architecture, and long-term strategy for assigned brands.
- Create strong regional activation plans, annual brand plans, and integrated activity plans.
- Collaborate with experts in Connections, Content and Creative, Shopper, and Category to deliver top-notch activities.
- Implement portfolio strategies and channel development guidelines, setting distribution targets.
- Drive and manage performance against commercial targets.
- Communicate brand standards, strategy, and marketing programmes to key stakeholders.
- Partner with revenue management to monitor and recommend pricing strategies.
- Analyse financial data and consumer insights to build plans driving positive consumer behaviour change.
- Manage A&P budgets and contribute to regional long-term forecasting.
- Lead monthly brand performance reviews and measure key brand activities.
- Oversee commercialisation of new products, including launch and GTM activation plans.
- Monitor market trends and review competitor activities.
- Collaborate with customer channel teams to build consumer-centric plans.
- Work with the Category team to deliver plans for category growth for Accolade Wines and customers.
What you'll bring
The ideal person will be self lead with a passion for driving this role and our brands to the next level. Your skills in stakeholder management will help influence and engage strong, high-performing teams to meet our ambitious growth targets across the ANZ region.
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing or related field desired (ideal)
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in a consumer marketing environment (preferably FMCG / liquor), 4 of which were in a Brand Management role (or closely related)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong commercial acumen with a strategic mindset to look for innovative ways of increasing Accolade Wines market presence
- Demonstrated experience supporting the management of diverse portfolios across complex retail environments
- Demonstrated experience supporting brand P&L management
- Demonstrated experience supporting NPD projects from conception through to launch / activation
- Understanding, knowledge and practical experience in consumer marketing
- Wine or liquor experience will be highly regarded
