Our Opportunity
Exciting, brand new opportunity for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with solid software development and ERP experience, gained in the construction sector. We seek a Senior Business Analyst who can take ownership of and architect solutions, bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by gathering, analysing, and translating business requirements into actionable solutions that drive value and alignment across MPA. The successful candidate will have the versatility, attitude and nimble approach to be successful in a small, dynamic team, taking ownership from end-to-end.
Your duties will include but not limited to the following
- Elicit business and technical requirements and the modelling of new and existing business processes.
- Manage stakeholder engagement meetings that have unique and often conflicting requirements and priorities.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the development team.
- Model complex business and financial process.
- Escalate issues and work with the team to prioritise feature delivery.
- Assist in the development and management of a prioritised schedule of work.
- Work with the development team to continually improve Agile processes.
- Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate user training sessions to ensure successful adoption of the software.
- Provide ongoing support and assistance to end-users, addressing any questions or concerns related to the software.
About you
- Proven experience working as a Senior Business Analyst in software development projects related to ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of construction industry processes and workflows, including project management, resource planning, procurement, and financial management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and concise technical specifications.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps or similar.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
