How will I help?
We’re searching for a Business Analyst within the Business Controls and Monitoring Technology team who will be responsible for helping with the roll out, scoping and assessment of the Records Management program for Technology.
The program of work looks at how the Technology Divisions manages its records, including the lifecycle management of these records. Records management underpins all operations, business processes and activities at Westpac Group. As part of this, Westpac must meet records management business, compliance, legislative, and regulatory obligations.
Your key responsibilities may include:
Analyse and document technology owned applications and the record sets within these applications.
Liaise with the business and application owners to analyse and assist to document records within technology applications.
Cross reference in scope records with applications to identify all in scope records and the associated applications.
Agree the priority criteria to assess in scope records and applications.
Assess applications and records against criteria to determine the high priority records and applications where remediation is required.
Work through with the relevant stakeholders to complete the solution estimate process.
Please note: This position is for a maximum term period of 12-18 months.

What do I need?
To be successful in this role, you will need to have great attention to detail, strong stakeholder management experience and be self-driven. In addition to this, your skills may include:
Experience as Business Analyst in transformation projects, specifically from formation through to delivery.
Knowledge and experience as a Business Analyst over Technology systems and environments (exposure to data warehousing, records management, application mapping would be an advantage)
Experience within the financial services industry would be advantageous.
Keen attention to detail, with the ability to synthesise information from multiple sources to draw key points for action.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skill
