Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Business Analyst to support our rapidly expanding business.

Based from our Hobart head office and reporting to the Financial Systems & Reporting Manager this full-time position will paly a pivotal role, leading business improvement and intelligence projects while providing day to day support and technical advice to our diverse business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, translate them into functional requirements, and document them comprehensively.
• Analyse current business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
• Provide project support and subject matter expertise to key stakeholders.
• Support our senior leadership team in the development and delivery of business objectives and plans.
• Assist with the development of business cases for existing or prospective initiatives.
• Ensure robust reporting, KPIs, business controls and timeframes are established and maintained to assist strategic and operational decision making.
• Identify opportunities for ongoing system enhancements and process optimisations post-implementation.

Requirements:

• Previous experience and proven ability in a similar role.
• Highly effective interpersonal skills that cultivate and grow lasting relationships.
• Strong customer service focus and a genuine desire to assist and educate stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey thoughts clearly and persuasively, both orally and in writing.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple team members and multiple decision makers on projects.
• Experience in data management, extraction and reporting; preferably using Power BI.
• Strong business acumen and strategic focus with the ability to balance big-picture targets with immediate KPIs.
• Ability to travel intrastate, as required.
