Participate in the technology, systems and process life-cycle, supporting key business initiatives, across all facets of the organisation.
Activities:
- Conduct business needs analysis and identify areas for improvement.
- Translate business requirements into clear, concise, and testable functional specifications.
- Work closely with stakeholders, including business users and IT teams, to gather and understand requirements.
- Develop user stories, use cases, and other documentation to capture requirements.
- Participate in the design, development, and testing of new IT solutions prior to implementation in production
- Participate in the production Go Live and support the business users with the bedding down of new systems and processes
- Identify potential risks and mitigation strategies for IT projects.
- Document and hand over support processes and procedures to the IT Service Desk
- Prepare project documentation, including reports, presentations, and meeting minutes.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in business analysis and technology.
Ideally you'll have:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for evaluating complex IT risks and developing effective mitigation strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate risk-related concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in implementing risk management initiatives and driving organizational change.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders across different departments and levels of the organization.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing risk landscapes, emerging technologies, and evolving regulatory requirements.
- Meticulous approach to risk assessment, analysis, and documentation to ensure accuracy and thoroughness.
- Ability to think strategically and align IT risk management practices with organizational goals and objectives.
- Commitment to ethics, integrity, and professionalism in handling sensitive information and making risk-based decisions.
