We are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst (BA) on an initial 9-month contract based in Melbourne (hybrid working model).
The successful candidate must be versatile with experience developing technical requirements for disaster recovery (DR)/ Business Continuity Planning (BCP). You will be able to demonstrate capability in working with top-down analysis approaches to deliver against DR plans including analysis of the products, services, and associated business scenarios and processes to identify business and system impacts arising from an IT disaster. This will also include an analysis of inter-dependencies by working alongside business and system recovery teams, in turn supporting the development of communication plans, templates, and new processes
This is part of a much wider transformation program of work and you will be required to work across different streams, dealing with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation from execs through to operations.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- 3+ years' experience as a Business Analyst
- Experience on IT focused Projects, ideally around DR & BCP for applications and/ or infrastructure
- Strong requirements gathering including experience specifying the functional and non-functional requirements for the projects
- Experience across all phases of the delivery lifecycle from Initiation through Design and Build, to Testing, Implementation and Transition to Operations
- Work closely with vendor resources as required including providing feedback to ensure quality standards are met
- Waterfall and Agile experience
- Documenting operating/governance models and operational processes
