About the role:
The Senior Business Analyst plays a vital role in facilitating the implementation of a portfolio of approved projects. Initially, you will focus on a regulatory project aimed at enhancing operational resilience. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing rigorous testing frameworks and business analysis processes that adhere to best practices, aimed at enhancing internal capabilities and ensuring optimal project outcomes.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Elicit, document, and prioritise business requirements
* Analyse and translate complex business requirements into clear and concise use cases, user stories, functional specifications, and system requirements.
* Support the Test Analyst in developing and executing test plans, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and control testing, to ensure quality deliverables.
* Conduct thorough analysis and mapping of current business processes
* Utilise process modelling techniques and tools to visualise workflows and recommend optimised processes.
* Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to gather requirements, present findings, and obtain buy-in for proposed solutions.
* Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into understandable terms.
* Manage vendor relationships effectively, ensuring they meet project requirements and deliverables
* Support project management activities by creating project plans, timelines, and milestones.
Required Skills:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a track record of successful project delivery and stakeholder management.
* Demonstrated experience in the banking or finance industry
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret complex regulatory requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
* Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
