Job Description
Please note this role is a Fixed Term contract, until the end of Nov 2024.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with demonstrated skills and expertise working on medium to large-scale Finance transformation programs. The successful candidate will be a part of project team working closely with business stakeholders in Finance and Actuarial space gathering requirements, analysing current state, and designing target state processes, performing data analysis, and being a key liaison among business, project, system implementation, and IT teams, both internal and external.
YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements for the ERP SaaS transformation project & conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Run workshops with multiple stakeholders to facilitate requirement elicitation and process analysis.
- Create detailed and clear documentation of business requirements, process flows, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Maintain comprehensive and organized documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Establish traceability from requirements to solution design and eventually to test cases.
- Serve as a primary point of contact between business and system implementation teams.
- Facilitate communication and understanding between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Support test teams to ensure test plans, scenarios, cases adhere to requirements and collaborate with QA teams to support issue resolution.
- Assist in change management and review of user training material.
- Lead the analysis and mapping of data from legacy systems to the new ERP SaaS solution.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate and timely data migration. Establish and maintain data integration processes between ERP modules and other systems
- Demonstrated practical experience in business analysis on medium to large-scale transformation programs
- Experience in Finance ERP, general ledger, and actuarial systems related projects and experience in dealing with Finance and Actuarial stakeholders
- Ability to engage stakeholders at various levels in the organisation, build rapport quickly and develop long-term relationships
- Ability to analyse and solve problems in a complex working environment
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to run workshops with multiple senior and business stakeholders
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, respond to short deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities
- Experience in and understanding of Finance ERP and ledger related projects
- Experience in and understanding of the insurance industry/financial services sector
- Tertiary degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
- Must be a team player and able to work diverse teams to achieve success
