The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of an organisation dedicated to nation-building renewable energy projects that will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.
The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Supply Chain function through data analysis and reporting, making use of Transgrid's various business systems, to assist in effective business decision making.
This role will also be responsible for coordinating and completing all regular weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting, as well as providing support on ad hoc data/reporting requests as well as strategic Supply Chain initiatives.
About you
- Tertiary Qualifications in Commerce, with Supply Chain disciplines, highly desirable
- 5 years of post-qualification work experience in relevant area
- Procurement reporting or accounting/FP&A background will also be viewed favourably
- Strong analytical skills with ability to work autonomously in drawing and interpreting relevant consistent data from multiple sources and presenting information in clear concise reports.
- Naturally curious, actively wants to understand underlying interrelationships in data.
- Demonstrated skills in financial modelling and performance analysis.
- Advanced excel user and experience with using PowerBI.
- Demonstrable experience in business performance and process improvement.
- Knowledge on the use of corporate data/financial systems and software applications.
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
- Customer focus with strong relationship building skills.
- Time management skills to address any conflicting priorities and meet deadlines.
