We are looking for a highly skilled and pragmaticSenior Business Analyst. Reporting to the Program Manager - Finance Modernisation, this role will identify and deliver business process improvements /automations as part the Finance Modernisation Program
Your Part in our UnitingCare team:
You will focus on:
- Provide detailed insights and strategic analysis around finance process improvement and operational excellence.
- Support and deliver lean process improvement opportunities and digital efficiencies as part of the Finance Modernisation Program. These may be delivered using a variety of different automation technologies including PowerBI/MS Power Platform/Excel/RPA.
- Lead and facilitate problem solving sessions.
- Contribute to Data and Knowledge Management Strategy creation and implement actions for change.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement empowering teams to identify improvements and remove inefficiencies.
- Identify and using appropriate communication styles and methods, taking into consideration the audience and the desired outcome. Building and maintaining effective working relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Support the re-engineering of finance processes to optimise, standardise (system agnostic) through improving work flows, eliminating waste and limiting variability.
- Gather and interpret functional needs of the finance operations teams and translate into end-to-end solutions using appropriate tools and embedding tools into processes with clear documentation and training.
- Create data and process flows (BPMN 2.0) diagrams as required.
- Perform value stream mapping activities to harvest areas of improvement and cost reduction.
What makes a difference for us:
The successful candidate will ideally present with:
- Tertiary qualification in accounting, business or a related field
- Proven experience in driving finance process change.
- Previous exposure to business processes and core activities that surround finance (R2R, A2R, F&A, O2C, S2P, and MDM) for a mid to large organization or part of Finance Transformation program.
- Power BI and Power Platform capability
- Strong Problem Solving
- Data and Process mapping (BPMN 2.0) capability
- Workshop facilitation
- Experience in end-to-end project or program delivery
- Strong capabilities in business architecture, business analysis and data analysis
- Knowledge of large ERP and up to date reporting system/softwaretools
- Strong communication, reasoning and stakeholder management skills
- Exposure to dynamic change environments
- Management or team leadership experience
- Performance and proficiency management, staffing management, time management, coordination and ongoingprofessional development
- Experience in interfacing with external providers where required
- Effective in decision making and strategic management and positive proactive approach
