About the role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Supermarkets Productivity Finance team.
Reporting to the Finance Manager Productivity, the primary responsibility of this role is to partner with the Labour Standards Managers and Workforce managers to translate the financial outcomes of standards.
This role is based at the Norwest State Support Office in NSW.
What you'll do
Partner with the Labour Standard Managers, Workforce Managers and end to end resourcing teams to understand demand lines, labour standards and planning
Build the labour budget using the labour standard by store
Align business requirements with RT3 demand lines and prepare load files for specific areas such as Productivity Factors, HR allowance, Apprentices / Cadets and Miscellaneous hours
Coordinate with Labour Standards Managers to ensure seasonal event hours are as per plans and in our demand lines
Coordinate with Commercial and RT3 teams to align on planograms
Analyses the weekly releases and demand lines against budgets to validate the movement and the financial impacts
Be involved in various projects such as Contract Base Modeling, Right Team Planning Tool and Budget module in IBMPA
Become the SME within the Productivity Finance team on RT3
Drive greater insights and analysis on movement of standards
What you'll bring
CPA / CA qualified (or working towards) with over 5 years of professional experience
Advanced Google Sheets (MS Excel) and financial modelling skills
Proven ability to manipulate data and conduct analyses which are simple, structured, accurate and robust, in order to provide useful insight
Strong commercial judgement and business acumen with a can do mentality
Strong communication ability and influencing skill
Awareness of team, ability to contribute toward positive culture where feedback is encouraged
Ability to effectively prioritise and adapt based on changing business needs
Experience in the retail or FMCG sectors will be highly regarded
