A supportive and prominent Federal Government Department is looking to engage an experienced Senior Business Analyst to engage with stakeholders and liaise with the business SME’s and Product Managers to understand business requirements and provide advice and templates to support delivery. The successful Senior Business Analyst will secure an initial 6 month contract with the view to extend aligned with a rewarding hourly rate.
The successful Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Document detailed Business Requirements for Epics and Features using a range of analysis techniques
- Facilitate workshops as required with business stakeholders and Product Teams across the Digital Transformation Branch to ensure common understanding of requirements
- Provide input to the delivery roadmap to ensure requested changes to system are visible to senior management
- Support the Delivery Manager or Scrum Master to promote the Agile delivery process and continuous improvement process
The successful Senior Business Analyst will have experience in the following:
- Business analysis using a range of analysis techniques such as user journeys, use cases, User stories with acceptance criteria, process mapping, process flow diagrams
- The development of quality documentation (including reports, management plans, procedure documentation, testing plans)
- The ability to work across different tasks with competing priorities as part of a multidisciplinary team, employing agile
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to nurture productive working relationships
