As a result of several ongoing project wins across the region and based on our growth strategy, AECOM’s Civil Infrastructure (CI) / Industrial teams are looking for a passionate and highly driven Civil Engineer / Project Manager who is looking to further develop their career in leading, winning and delivering civil infrastructure and multi-discipline projects.
Working with a high performing team, you will assist in winning, managing and delivering projects for a diverse range of clients from Local Government, BHP and other mining / civil infrastructure clients.
The typical types of engineering projects for our CI / Industrial customers relate to: light vehicle / heavy vehicle roads, water mains, mine-site water management, water modelling, drainage, levees, dams, pumping/piping infrastructure, structural integrity and construction quality assurance.
We are seeking a future leader with an interest in succession and long-term growth in AECOM - an individual who is looking to be continually challenged and develop their career into a multitude of potential pathways within a global organisation. Working on a range of projects, this role will give you the opportunity to develop and shape your career, with opportunities to travel within our supportive Mackay office.

Job Description
About You
- Demonstrated experience in successfully winning and delivering Civil Infrastructure projects to a high standard, within budget and on time;
- Passionate about developing yourself to be a future leader and initiator of our local strategy to grow the CI and Industrial groups capability;
- Love working with people and passion to mentor and lead teams plus interact with customers;
- 8+ years’ experience in a work winning / engineeering delivery position.
Qualifications
The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered.
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or equivalent);
- Project management experience;
- Business development experience (desirable);
- RPEQ/CPEng (desirable).
