The Senior Clinical Lead (Clinical Psychology) (Grade 4) will be primarily responsible for providing Clinical Leadership and operational support to all Clinical and Health Psychologists within Specialist Medical services, and ensure delivery of evidence-based psychology services, consultation, and professional supervision across Psychology at Western Health.
The Senior Clinical Lead (Clinical Psychology – Specialist Medical) is also responsible for assisting the Director of Psychology in providing professional support and governance for all other Clinical and Health Psychologists working within Western Health, who are not operationally aligned with the Directorate of Allied Health.
They will also work closely with the Senior Clinical Lead (Clinical Neuropsychology) to provide coordinated and wholistic clinical and operational support.
The Senior Clinical Lead (Clinical Psychology) will provide professional expertise and consultation, both internally and externally to the organisation on key issues of a psychological nature including service development, or policy development and procedures in areas requiring expert psychological knowledge.
This is a permanent part-time role at 0.6 FTE.
To be Successful in this Role, you will have:
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a Clinical Psychologist
- An approved Post Graduate Degree in Clinical Psychology
- Extensive clinical knowledge and experience in Clinical & Health Psychology
- Registration with AHPRA with an Approved Area of Practice (Endorsement) in Clinical Psychology
- Current registration as a PsyBA Board Approved Supervisor, and have extensive experience in the supervision, training and development of staff
- Experience in providing leadership in team and departmental research, quality improvement, and service evaluation activities
- Demonstrated achievement in leadership and supervision within area of responsibility to ensure effective service provision and program delivery
