Who We Are
Solid Rock Psychology is an innovative private practice in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs serving adult clients, dedicated to Deliberate Practice, Feedback-informed Treatment, and data-driven excellence. We want to redefine the private practice experience for our team so they feel valued, and equipped for sustainable, quality service. We are part of a network of practices in Australia using Precision HealthCare to pioneer matching of clients with clinicians based on 30 years of outcomes research.
As a member of the clinical leadership team, you will have the opportunity to positively influence the culture and experience for our clinicians, reducing the risk of burnout and facilitating longevity in the profession through supervision; being a foundational team-member as our practice steps into a period of growth; all while providing best-practice care to our client community.
About the Position
As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, your experience will be highly valued. You will model best practice to junior members of the team, providing evidence-based and whole-hearted care to your clients, while managing your workload with efficiency, and contributing to the practice as a senior clinician.
More specifically the role involves:
Maintaining a caseload of 4 - 6 clients per day on average, according to your personal goals and preferences
Contributing to the provision of individual and group supervision to provisional psychologists, clinical registrars and fully registered psychologists
Contributing to curriculum development of our group programs, and resource development for effective clinical care
Contributing to continuous improvement of our service through refining clinical processes and systems, and supporting the team in adopting these changes
Reporting to the Director, and receiving clinical supervision and support from a Senior Psychologist, this is an exciting opportunity for a values-driven, growth-oriented clinician wanting to be an essential member of the team.
The position is permanent part time (0.6 - 0.8FTE), though a full time position may be negotiated for the right applicant. A mutually agreeable start date to be negotiated to ensure adequate time for a smooth transition.
This position offers a unique opportunity to be in an employed role with full employee benefits, full-time admin support, the support of a leadership team and the collegiality of working alongside other psychologists, with a Reward / Commission structure that honours your effort, and allows you to have control over your remuneration.
