About the role Due to a consistent rate of growth and a strong pipeline of projects, we are seeking an experienced Senior Commissioning Officer to join our team. The Senior Commissioning Officer is a hands-on role with broad technical knowledge and experience working on substation projects that play a key part in Australia’s transition to net zero.
The role is on our Zinfra Contracting VIC Testing & Commissioning Enterprise Agreement 2021 with a competitive salary on offer. A tool of trade vehicle will be provided. In this role you will travel around Victoria, working a 9-day fortnight for the most part, with some overtime.
Key Responsibilities include
Planning and leading brownfield and greenfield 22kV-500kV Substation project testing and commissioning activities
Planning and executing outage activities
Tracking and reporting progress according to the project commissioning schedule
Protection, control relay, switchgear, CT and CV testingIEC61850 system testing
Drawing, ITP and defect/RFI management
Supervision and mentoring of junior team members
Provide diagnostic testing and maintenance services on a wide variety of electrical protection and control relays & equipment
