About the Role
Join the dynamic Communications and Media team at Swinburne University of Technology as a Senior Communication Advisor, where you will play a key role in shaping the engaging content and driving communications for the innovative Student Experience Framework project.
This exciting initiative involves collaborating with students to transform and co-create the student experience, ensuring we deliver the best university experience possible from enrolment to graduation. As part of this project, you will lead the development and implementation of integrated communications campaigns across various channels to reach students, staff, and external audiences. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor a team of digital student ambassadors and work closely with the Social Media team to create captivating content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- Demonstrated excellence in communications strategy and planning.
- Excellent content production and editorial skills combined with an ability to work under time pressure to produce high quality communications materials.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and analyse emerging opportunities with respect to their communication needs.
- Demonstrated ability to use metrics to inform development of communications strategy.
- Demonstrated experience working with senior stakeholders in the development of communications strategy and plans.
Qualifications
Completion of a tertiary qualification with substantial relevant experience in corporate (external and internal) communications, PR, media, social media or a related field.
