This is a Permanent Full-Time position with the possibility of part time for the right candidate.VCID No. 897832Position Profile and Role:We are seeking a Senior Consultant Learning and Delivery to lead our L&D delivery team in implementing impactful, innovative and effective learning initiatives that address capability gaps and support ongoing professional growth across our organisation.Reporting to the Manager Learning & Development, you will promote a CAHS-wide quality framework for consistent delivery of learning initiatives, consulting with internal stakeholders and partnering with SME learning teams to understand their needs and ensure the designed learning programs meet high standards.As a leader, your ability to model advanced facilitation skills will be highly regarded. You will foster a collaborative team environment and work closely with your team to analyse problems, design solutions, monitor, and evaluate learning programs, fostering a high performance work culture.Key responsibilities include:
  • Coordinating, delivering, monitoring, and reporting on learning initiatives across CAHS, focusing on overseeing CAHS-wide mandatory training, including the CAHS Safety Skills Training Program.
  • Ensuring effective administration of the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring the LMS is user-friendly, accurate, and the single source of truth for CAHS-wide L&D data.
  • Being accountable for effective delivery of the corporate training portfolio, encompassing all training undertaken by the L&D team across all CAHS service areas, conducting quality reviews and impact evaluations of programs, implementing continuous improvement actions and reporting as required.
  • Consulting with stakeholders and the Senior Learning and Development Consultant (Design) to maintain and deliver engaging, practical, and high-quality learning offerings across varied learning modalities, providing thought leadership in instructional design and delivery, applying contemporary adult learning principles.
  • Managing external training programs in line with CAHS procurement and intellectual property agreement processes.
  • Contributing to Health Service-wide learning policies and practices.
